Policy Onboard
Welcome to Uncle Jaq Cruise! To ensure a safe and enjoyable journey, we have established the following onboard policies that all guests must follow.
1. General Conduct
All passengers are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers and crew members. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Follow all instructions given by the crew.
- Respect fellow passengers and their privacy.
- Avoid excessive noise, especially in cabins and dining areas.
- Offensive language or inappropriate behavior may result in disciplinary action.
2. Identification & Boarding
To ensure security, all passengers must present valid identification at check-in. Required documents include:
- A government-issued passport or ID card.
- Boarding pass or e-ticket confirmation.
- Visa (if applicable for international travel).
3. Safety & Emergency Procedures
Your safety is our priority. Please familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and safety measures:
- Attend the mandatory safety drill at the beginning of the cruise.
- Locate emergency exits and lifeboats near your cabin.
- Follow crew instructions during emergencies.
- Use life vests available in your cabin if needed.
4. Health & Medical Assistance
If you have any medical conditions, please inform the crew in advance. Onboard medical assistance is available, but serious cases may require evacuation.
- Basic first aid is available 24/7.
- Medical consultations are available at designated hours.
- If you feel unwell, visit the onboard medical center immediately.
- Passengers with contagious diseases may be quarantined.
5. Prohibited Items
For the safety of all guests, the following items are strictly prohibited onboard:
- Weapons, firearms, and explosives.
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Flammable liquids and hazardous materials.
- Outside alcohol (unless permitted under specific rules).
6. Alcohol & Smoking Policy
Alcohol consumption and smoking are regulated onboard:
- Guests must be 21+ years old to consume alcohol.
- Excessive alcohol consumption leading to misconduct is prohibited.
- Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.
- Smoking in cabins or other restricted zones is subject to fines.
7. Dress Code
Passengers are expected to follow appropriate dress codes in different areas:
- Casual attire is allowed in most areas.
- Swimwear is permitted only in pool areas.
- Formal attire is required for specific dining events.
- Shirts and footwear are required in all public areas.
8. Dining & Meal Services
To enhance your dining experience, please follow these guidelines:
- Meal timings will be displayed in common areas.
- Special dietary requests should be informed in advance.
- Outside food is not allowed in dining areas.
- Buffet service must be used responsibly to avoid food wastage.
9. Pool & Recreation Area Guidelines
For your safety, please follow these pool area rules:
- Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.
- Running and diving in pool areas are prohibited.
- Appropriate swimwear is required.
- Pool opening and closing times must be followed.
10. Child Supervision
Children onboard must always be under adult supervision:
- Parents are responsible for their child’s safety.
- Unattended children in public areas may be escorted to their guardians.
- Kid-friendly zones and activities are available under supervision.
11. Shore Excursions
If you participate in a shore excursion, keep in mind:
- Follow instructions from the tour guide.
- Be punctual to avoid missing the ship departure.
- Carry identification and emergency contact details.
- Respect local cultures and traditions.
12. Lost & Found
In case of lost items, please report them immediately:
- Lost items will be held at the reception desk.
- Identification may be required to claim lost belongings.
- Unclaimed items may be disposed of after 30 days.
13. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have any concerns, you can contact the onboard guest relations desk:
- Complaints must be reported as soon as possible.
- Serious issues may be escalated to management.
- Disputes will be resolved according to cruise policies.
14. Departure & Check-Out Process
To ensure a smooth departure, follow these guidelines:
- Check-out timing will be communicated on the last day.
- All dues must be cleared before leaving the ship.
- Luggage collection procedures will be explained in advance.
